A practical introduction to mindfulness 2 hrs. You will be introduced to the key concepts and the scientific research that underpins mindfulness today and how this relates to managing stress and health. Discussion is interspersed with guided meditations and simple, practical methods that you can take away and use in every day interactions in life.
If you would like to find out more about mindfulness and the benefits that mindfulness can bring for you, an introductory workshop is a good way to start; this can be taken as a stand alone session of mindfulness practice and discussion, or as a taster to help you to decide on the commitment of a full eight week course Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course.
